Jerry Blount: We hired Charlie Angel who partnered with Bradley Chapin currently doing business as Legacy Auctions but sill retaining the AuctionsKC.com web presence. It was an estate auction, he did not promote it adequately, ultimately sold things for near nothing ( One of our refrigerators went for $5 as did our freezer!) But... we had to threaten to sue to get the first minor check. We have still not received the check for a truck sold May 18 It is June 30.... ( Signed the title on May 18) He said he sent the check 2 weeks ago. He/they are incredibly nice until you sign the papers then you cannot get ahold of him. Outrageously dishonest, lies, rude and forces you to beg and beg just to get a text let alone a check. Charlie will at least answer his phone. But he blames it on Bradley.... Bradley brags "Based on sixty years of family experience, Legacy Auction Group & Realty" They have been getting away with these unbelievable business tactics for a long time. They literally take advantage of grieving families and turn grief into the worst nightmare they could ever experience! There is not enough room to document the slight of hand nonsense that we have experienced!

Another Mike: An auction house you can trust, mostly. I say mostly because it is still on you to live up to your end of the deal and perform due diligence. But, with this group I've let my guard down because I trust them to be honest. The only place I buy stuff from these days. I've bought a lot of stuff here and only had one very minor issue.

Michael Caudill: I'm military and was away from training which was last minute notice. I bid on many items in which was $367 worth. Unfortunately while in training we weren't allowed to have our phones. I missed the deadline of 7 days. I drove 1hr to pick up my stuff i paid for on veterans day. I tried explaining my situation and the guy said sorry not my problem. I request a refund in which was denied. So now I'm out $367 for reasons unseen. I will not buy from this auction again. That was my first and last if they refund the $367. They would've made way more money overtime on me if they would've refunded. I've started a thrift business. I get space is very limited. Atleast refund me the amount. I'll pay the $1 per item. I'll change review if helped.

Rex Wilson: This is the best auction house in the KC Area. They do a great job on all aspect of their business. They do a great job with listing accuracy and service. They are the busiest auction house that I’m aware of and couldn’t be happier!!
Caleb Smith: Unfortunately I can no longer support this business, and can no longer recommend it to my friends, either. You should not trust the listing descriptions. Don't have time to inspect items before biding? Hope you're feeling lucky.In one case, furniture described as "appears new" was clearly broken in transit, and the listing picture cleverly cropped it out. "Appears new" another time described an item loose in an Amazon box, with no original packaging or anything to suggest it was new. Your guess is as good as mine as to how new it was. Even "powers on" might mean "conducts electricity but otherwise doesn't function," as I was loathe to discover. In each instance, alternate boilerplate descriptions would have been more accurate, but less enticing to the bidder.These items are not offered at a discount, but offered as a gamble. In my experience, I could not trust the listing as they were too often deliberately misleading. After getting burned in these instances as more, I can no longer support this business. And PLEASE be aware of the auto payments and don't get surprised like I did. There are other competitors to try.I'm sure another hollow apology will be posted under this review.
Katie Gilchrist: So disappointed! Called and left a message to inquire about picking up at a later date. Conveniently someone called me back the day after a “7 calendar day” pick up is now being enforced. You STOLE my money and refused to give me my items. Then the young man at the pick up spot told me you’d be re-list the items on auction again!
Doug Lamfers: Terrible service!!! Several times I have gone to pick up items purchased and they can’t locate so eventually credit back my account. Went to pick up an item that was apparently one day after the deadline and then wanted to charge $5.00 for the late pickup. Told them they did not compensate me for my time and gas to come pick up items they apparently lost but didn’t seem to matter. Said they could not confirm or deny if what I expressed was true or not….but could have looked up to see the credits by my bidder number and apparently did not care. Told them to keep the $1,37 item as I would not pay their stupid $5.00 late pickup fee.

Fred Smith: Fun auction! Always unique stuff and great deals. The family that runs this auction has been in business for decades and are always fair and pleasant.
Brooke Williams: I highly recommend Midwest Auction AllStars. The staff are very friendly and I can tell they’re hard workers. I have bought items from them over the years and it’s always a pleasure doing business with them. Midwest Auction AllStars has also sold items for me in the past. They were straight up about how sales go and I earned the amount they had estimated. I plan to continue doing business with them in the future when/if needed. Two thumbs up!

jessie Dinkel: Owner is extremely rude! I came in at 3:20 pm. She told me to leave and come back tomorrow. She was helping another lady but said she was an exception because she made a special trip in promise to buy a large piece of furniture. Don't estates sales close at 4:00? Wasn't me driving all the way there after work a special trip as a customer? I'm unavailable to come the next day I have to work. I feel sorry for the family this woman owes them there time and money back treating people this way. Lack of integrity and professionalism.
Rai Freels: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueHave always found them to be most helpful - I'm a senior with a balance problem - need to use a cane . When I go to their sales - they go overboard to make it easy for me - even to the point of carrying my purchases to the car. Thanks guys.
Paula Revare: I'm really surprised by the negative reviews here. Bonnie is awesome! While I've never used Bonnie for an estate sale, I certainly would should the need arise. I've been going to her sales for about five years. I have never had a bad experience. She is reasonably priced and will make you a deal if you buy several items. Bonnie is very polite and friendly. Her staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Can't wait for the next one. Whenever and wherever!
Barbara Wiltermood: She kept no record of what she sold of ours and for how much. I have had friends that came to the sale that said the staff was rude. They also said a lot of stuff was not marked with a price and what was marked was over priced. Now I know why she said she didn't want the family to come to the sale.
Ben Schlicht: Extremely Rude staff and owner! Items are 20 years old and priced at current retail prices... extremely over priced USED items... several other comments about employees hiding stuff for themselves instead of selling them for the estate... I would not recommend them to anyone... "No Anything" is their motto when it comes to problems with anything you buy at their sales...
