Ghost Ryda: Self explanatory. #UnionStrong
Mirage Time: Union. Hell yeah
Kevin Unroe: Im just starting out as a apprentice. I can tell you after being in construction that was not union. Now being in a union, helps me grasp the gravity of being treated fairly and with good benefits. Plus it pays better.
Ryan Klima: 👍
BNG GAMING: Currently out of work
mark: Awesome Awesome Great career with lots of great benefits and a chance to retire.
Kenneth Meek: Good money great Benifits for me and my family plus work is good. Way to build up and become a better carpenter or millwright
Roger Corona: God bless union workers America needs them.

Excelsior Springs Job Corps: what do users think?
Teresa McCarver: I attended this center in 1974. It jad a great academic program. It was a safe place and fun campus. 👍👍
Charles Hankins: I went to this facility its did me justice. I got my high school diploma and ged with welding certs anfmd was in the njrotc program. I definitely resect what they are doing and i highly recommend this school if public school isnt your thing
Dawn Collins: Keep your kid away from this place. It is full of predators. I won't be sending my kid back. It's a hot mess.
John Collins: This place is wild. They want to pretend it's a school but it's a joke the don't care about the kids the company that runs the place just wants moneym They let teachers date the students. And do nothing just keep it quiet. Everything gets hushed up so the place will keep bringing in the big bucks. Staff drunk at work? No problem just don't let it get out. That's their motto about everything.
Dorian Ferguson: I was at Excelsior from Feb. 98-Oct. 98, and I had a ball. I met people from Iowa to The Virgin Islands. It really helped me to open up socially to strangers. I recommend it to others.
Irene Hixson: I attended Excelsior Springs Job Corps back in the early 90's. Got my GED and a welding trade was Color guard, Honor guard, student government, Big brother Big sisters, an honor student and a member of the choir. And I thought it was a very enlightening experience it was worth while and very helpful. I've been to 2 Job Corps and of the two Excelsior was the better of the two. Dr. Fennel was the Center Dircertor and Grace was pretty much head of security. Sabria Shepard was head of Big brothers Big sisters and such at the time. If you wanted to make something of yourself all you had to do was apply yourself.
Willie Waring: Honestly wasn't that bad, if you're there to focus on what you need to do to better yourself
Johnny Mathes: I went there from 1993-1995 back then it was a great place, super friendly and helpful staff. I graduated from there and earned a certificate welding completion. I do have to say you will only get out it what you put into it stay away from drama keep yourself busy with different positive activities. It definitely changed the course of my life the moment I decided to join up I was going nowhere fast but Job Corp gave me the chance I needed to do something with my life.
Charles Moses: I went to this Job Corps Jan 1991 till November 1991 I took TCU I enjoy it a lot
Cory Henry: I loved it there its a good place to go. I would consider it to anyone.
Irissa “lil liz” Morrison: My experience at excelsior springs job Corp was amazing and everyone was so nice and helpful
Kaven Mahon: i went here straight from rehab to stay sober , kids drink here they smoke pot on the ballfield and in the dorms as well , the staffing here is so terrible , I've watched kids get punked out and bullied and if you get in the middle you get kicked out watched a girl get punched in the phase then defended herself they both got kicked out indefinitely , the food here is by no means healthy i cant tell you how many breakfast days were fried Twinkies , 80 percent of kids will sleep past breakfast because the quality and choice of food , the NROTC is the only thing respectable , i was one to stand up for those who couldn't stand on their own i was present for two kids that attempted suicide and many more that cut themselves this jobcorps is not beneficial for your kids stay away !!
The Math Student: My first month was great. I would advise any student to be careful with some staff; they can and have been controling. Some staff I love and are good at what they do others will make your time here miserable if you let them, overall if you dont have to come here DON'T. Life is not all about money. Don't trade who you are for the promise of money. READ THE FINE PRINT. Ask question to things they do not tell you. If you're smart and wise you wont have to come here. Never wait for someone elses say so on YOUR life
Jamie thornton: I went here when I was 16.. that was 22 yrs ago.. this was a very clean, well keep place , good food.. they didn't play when it came to rules.. I didn't stay long as I was young & stupid but I did go bk in 2001-2003 to Clearfield UT job corp both places was a great place .. I want my kids to come to either one of those places..
Mike Flack: I took 2 yrs of carpentry training and finished getting my highschool diploma here 22yrs ago. One of the best choices I could have possibly made at that point of time in my life. I was also in the Navy Junior ROTC while I was there. Also a very good choice of mine. Definitely no reason of details of my life growing up but going here gave me a much better perspective on life and I have been having a pretty good one. Thank You Excelsior Springs Job Corps and all the staff of 1998-2000.
Muddy Ballenger: I enjoy my time at job corps
Nichole Richards: Great opportunity if the drive to do better is there.
Greg Mac: Great new job and enjoying it.
Maelee: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,QualityThe phlebotomist Chelsey Johnston was horrible. Rude and undertrained.
Salvador de J. Hernandez: Best place to work.!!!
S I: It was recommended that my son come here after graduation and that was a big mistake. My son said the food was horrific. The Wellness Center and the Doctor were horrible. I know they can't make someone take their meds, but if they don't take their meds, they don't. They don't ever follow up with the student to find out what's going on. My insurance pays for these meds and they were never taken. When we took him down we found the staff to be very cold and rude. We never got to see the grounds or the facility to know where our son was going to be living. The program he was in was absolutely horrible and it's too bad he wasted his time. There was no way he was going to be able to get a job with the pathetic training he got here. I may not be well versed in the program and could not get a good answer, but they say the program is free but my son said he was paying for his uniform out of the little bit of money they do pay you. I would try and find another alternative if possible.
