Gladstone Amphitheater: what do users think?
Kitty Starr: Always fun to see them building the backgrounds for the new plays. A fun and free way to engage with the local community.
M Allen: What a beautiful park in the middle of gladstone! We didn't use the amphitheater, just a shelter but it was all lovely and clean. People were walking and it seemed safe and pretty
I. Wyrd: Gladstone Theater in the Park does free shows here during the Summer.
Debra Barnett: Very nice park.
Luz Maria Heredia: We came to see Legally Blonde the Musical. It was our 1st time coming & it was awesome. Everyone in the cast & orchestra did an amazing job. The parking attendants do an amazing job too. TIP BEFORE THE SHOW: Do the blanket run at 3PM, so you save yourself a good spot ( use a blanket/tarp/chairs )

The Theatre in the Park: what do users think?
Tiffany Mohatt: This is such a fun place to go in the summer time! Need a fun evening activity? Go to The Theatre in the Park! The actors and actresses in the musicals are extremely talented. The shoes are kid friendly with subtle adult humor. This is meant for everyone’s enjoyment! I would recommend bringing either a sheet/blanket to sit on or a beach chair that does not sit high up so you can get as close to the stage as possible.
Will Wright: Always a good time and tickets are so cheap!
Christy Rath: Productions are always great and it’s a beautiful park!
Ryan Conaway: Amazing talent go see freaky friday its funny entertaining and very kid friendly
Julie Vaughn: Seemed like a great venue, but our was show was canceled due to weather so only got to see the pre-show dancers.
Nic Daytoday: Had a great experience dropping my live Christmas tree off here after Christmas! It’s located in the parking lot at theatre in the park they are only doing it from December 26 until January 31.
becky Smith: Seussical was our first time visiting the theatre, but after this wonderful performance, it will not be our last. A small quaint theater, with a lot of talent. I can’t say enough about how impressed we were. Great job!
Adam Cox: Anytime a theater is spelled theatre you know it is going to be super high class.
Nicole Bishop: Such a fun summer experience. The that'd in the park shows are affordable, free parking, bring your own snacks or buy concessions, bring a blanket or chairs. So fun!!!
Zanderz McCluer: Performance was AMAZING! attended the spongebob musical and had a ton of fun. Great music and amazing scenery. Only way could have been better is if there wasn't so large lines for photos, lol.
Carlos Vides Advisor Academy: Great place for family time
Ghoul Pen: Great space, good sound, could stand a bit more security as there were more smokers than I would have liked. Other than that epic venue.
Emeri Ekstrand: Love this place, shows, and people!!
Linda Patton: It was great. Very clean no bugs helpful employees great show.
Heidi Van: Theatre in the park is always a great time! Easy parking, lots of space to spread out abs the shows are FANTASTIC! Lots of restrooms abs a great concession stand!
Angie Tush: School of Rock was terrific
Dawn Decanini: So awesome for the family!
Stephanie Jarman: Such amazing local talent and a fun, family friendly event. One of my favorite things about Kansas City!
Susan Risdal: Saw The School of Rock and it was exceptional. The rewrite, the lead, the other performers...all were what I'd expect to see on Broadway. This is the norm for the musicals performed at the Theater in the Park. The orchestra seamlessly supports the performances with highly talented musicians. The ambiance ... it's in the Park! (None of my family came home with mosquito bites). You bring your own chair and drinks and snacks. We sat in the section furthest from the stage, yet the sound was perfect.Go early because seating is first come, first serve.
Deb Beehler: Great show loved it
Jodi Braack: Great outdoor thearre and quality talent. Great production!
