Abigail Demaree: The course was really fun, and after looking at other places, the cost was great. I absolutely loved the zip line side! But, the course is not suitable for tall people. I wish that there was some disclosure on that. I am 5'10 and my husband is 6'1. We kept getting stuck in the fisherman's traps and I hit my head soo many times. We landed on our butts everytime we finished a zipline, simply because the "run way" wasn't lon enough and the mulch was too high for our height. Other tall people in the same time group as us where also struggling. Because of my height, the rope often rubbed across our necks and shoulders while we were on different obstacles. It's a really fun course, but I gave up after the 4th stage because I was tired of hitting my head and hurting my shoulder. It was a honeymoon adventure for my husband and I, so the fact that it wasn't made for our height ( his height is pretty average) was disappointing.To top it off, we had trainees in our group, and our instructor, Dom, spent a lot of time picking on them instead of helping us. The instructors seemed super immature, it's great they where having fun, but threatening to rip someone's face off and making fun of eachother during instruction, that's a bit much. Also, the trainees seemed super uncomfortable with the exchange as well. So if you are having trouble retaining staff, this might be why.Also, our instructor disappeared part way through, so we had to go find a different group to get help.

Julia Daily: I don’t have a similar experience to compare this to, but this was very fun! Be prepared for a LOT of WORK climbing up the narrow enclosures to get to the platforms in the trees. That is an athletic activity, for sure. Someone who is under 40 and is in reasonable athletic condition will find it a lot easier than what I did. Standing in the trees, looking around, walking across the challenging course between trees, and then zipping down to the next station was enough fun to make that hard work pay off.In “Tree Top Adventure” there are five different courses, each one being more difficult than the one before. If you’re used to climbing lots of stairs regularly, you probably won’t have trouble with the climbing. Such is not the case for me, and it was even harder work than I anticipated. My legs were pretty wobbly after climbing up, and that made walking across from tree to tree even more challenging. For my 27-year old nephew, it was work, though fairly easy for him. His challenge was that he is over 6 feet tall, and the climbing spaces are pretty tight.Our instructor, Dom, was friendly, helpful and encouraging whenever someone had difficulty with a particular challenge or with understanding the equipment. The instruction was good, though I felt that manipulating the trolley through some spots was a little more difficult than it needed to be; you have to work with moving it at various angles before it makes sense and the trolley will pass through to the next section. I felt safe the whole time, and I was surprised that I enjoyed the heights as much as I did.It’s important to know your physical limits and to take your time between each of the courses. As I was concerned for an old injury of mine, and I was very tired, I finished after 3 of the 5 stations, and I felt perfectly fine about accomplishing that! I had fun watching the rest of the group work harder than what I wanted to. Watching them do the Tarzan swing was fun, and they seemed to love it. The very last zip line down to the ground was the longest, and it made me wish I hadn’t gotten so tired.Important: Drink lots of water, because you will sweat a lot!

Krista Westerkamp: Very unreliable. We made our reservation and paid beforehand. They sent several emails and we signed our waivers. The day we showed up for our adventure with 2 very excited kiddos they informed us they were understaffed and our reservation was cancelled. They kept the adult zip line open however. Did not offer to make the situation right whatsoever by offering us a different time or any accommodation after we blocked out our morning and spent money on gas. Very disappointing and heartbreaking for kiddos especially.
Ashley Emory: Very unprofessional they canceled my son’s 5th birthday party 2 hours before it was supposed to start due to staffing issues. They didn’t have enough staff to have both adventures open at the same time so they had to close one which is totally understandable because safety is vital but again they chose to keep the 10 & up adventure open as opposed to the all ages. In my opinion that was totally unfair and none of the staff displayed any sort of compassion, they were rude about it and didn’t even try to come up with a different solution.
ANDYJO 1979: The experience was good but they are under staffed and they had electrical issues with their lights. I belive the experience would have been better during the day.
ANTHONY H: Wife and I just went there today for our 17th anniversary. She's been once before and today was my first time. It was a heck of a workout and a lot of fun. I've had 3 knee surgeries and I'm going to be sore for a couple of days most likely but it was a great way to celebrate an anniversary. Staff was awesome. Tarzan obstacle was down due to them being short staffed but ther than that it was a great experience.

Darla Davis: This place in Swop Park, is a dream for kids! They can climb all over it. They can suspend from heights and be safe. They have all sizes of zip lines, so kids can build up to the longest ride. They have plenty of adults that are there to assist. I highly recommend! Whoo hoo 😁

Sherrie Ford: Went to Finish Line to get the tennis shoes I ordered and the manager was cool the only thing that was disappointing is they didn't have my shoes I wanted they were at another store (Independence, Missouri) but I should have them by Wednesday. Other than that Everything was 👍 good!

Angie Grisafe: They are not open like their store hours say from 11-7 M-F & Sun 11-6. Tried going there on Sunday 8/7/2022 at 11am and the store had their lights all on but their gate was shut and no workers to be seen inside. They didn’t open their doors until close to noon & I was Finally able to go inside to return a pair of shoes that were shipped and fit too big. I went through the process of reordering the same shoe in a 1/2 size smaller (the young worker was very helpful) but when it shipped this week the shoe size was actually bigger than the original order. I reordered a size 9 Women’s and it was a size 9 Men’s which is like a size 11 in women! Needless to say they absolutely did not fit and it was the Warehouse that messed up because my receipt had size 9 Women’s on it, so I figured I’d go BACK UP to this location today, Friday 8/12/2022 to try to do it ALL OVER AGAIN and fix the mess up and of course they do not have their doors open AGAIN and lights are all off inside at 11:30am-So frustrating!!! Called the store and no answer, I Also tried giving customer service a call and it said it would be 36 minutes to wait to talk to someone. Finish line is a great store but not happy with my recent experience and wasted time and gas driving the 30 minutes to get there.

Rtaborn 2: I would really like to express how grateful & pleased I was with Brian (actually helping at this location) & his Store Manager Amber from the Overland Park location. Starting with this problem I had with an order that was placed, stated it had been delivered & after it was all over & done, come to find out, those 2 pieces hadn’t been delivered at all.It’s called customer care for a reason. Those people who actually work in that department aren’t customer friendly at all. And for someone to make YOU feel like your lying or not being truthful, makes you not even want to do business with the company.On top of being told, it’s NOTHING more they can do?!!? Are you serious? Because they’re looking online at the same thing I’m looking at saying shipped & delivered ?!! And this is CUSTOMER CARE!Well I didn’t accept that answer & that’s when I called the Independence location& was so satisfied that I did. Brian went above and beyond to try to assist as much as he could it was just as confusing to him as it was to me. So instead of him saying oh I’m sorry it’s nothing I can do he contacted his store manager Amber and she solved the problem immediately. From locating the package to even suggesting l could pick it up & wouldn’t have to wait until X amount of days for delivery. That’s what I call teamwork! Unfortunately my work schedule wouldn’t allow that.So after all of that, the Independence store Manager Cassidy, is amazing as well. She offered to bring me the items after she gets off tonight!!!This is what makes customers like me continue doing business with you. The customer care line is something I refuse to give any credit to. The person I spoke with, gets -0 stars.Hearing I have a problem & all she wanted to do was cut me off in the middle of my concern & basically told me she could reissue the items but it would be another few days before it would come... UNACCEPTABLE....
Alex Rebikh: Bought some shoes 2 weeks ago that I wore 2 times that made my toe bleed on the one shoe, the person who I was trying to return them too said I couldn’t return them because I had worn them even though I had my receipt, I don’t understand how I’m suppose to know that the shoe was defective before wearing them on the court, anyways I called the finish line at Overland Park and they said that I could return the shoes no problem since they’re defected, anyways customer service is below average at independence center.

Cory T.: Just stopped on whim to get my son new shoes and everybody there was so helpful and I guess we just happened to go when easily 1/3 of their entire inventory was at least 35% of and the shoes ly son picked were listed at $85 and the price that the register rang up was $29 before taxes.

Prices are a little steep but that's just because they have name brand excellent styles and a variety for you to choose from if you want the very best like this store offers then you got to pay a little more then you where I'm and feel proud!
