Lacey McPhail: Well priced for what it offers and offers enough to keep myself and partner entertained when we are off work. Got the 20 visit pass for the summer :) Could definitely be cleaner, pools/river have bugs and debris. I understand why they limit to Independence residents only- they can barely keep the place running as it is. Grateful they are open and it's pretty packed as-is with Indy residents only, I couldn't imagine how busy it would be with the whole metro coming. All in all, great relaxing park

sonia t: Its a shame that people have to have some government id with a independence address to go swim for the day, even if they are visiting from another state or country or if a persons spouse only has their foreign id in which isnt accepted. Thats the most highest example of disgrace & racism. I used to love going here but i dont xare to be around places that are racist.Ticket type: We werent allowed to go in because my fiance doesn't have a government id with independence address
john myers: Can no longer enjoy cause we dont live in independence. This new rule is unfare to neighborings communities who dont have as nice of a park. If i made this same choice with my buisness i would go out of buisness. This is discrimination and should be delt with as such.

Go Ape Zipline and Adventure Park: what do users think?
wendy schaffer-nash: We love this place!! Challenging and fun all at the same time!! I’ve taken my teenagers numerous times.
MsSusumom: Josie was awesome as well as the other employees we spoke with. Can't wait to go back with the younger kids.
catrice Pinks: Super fun!! Will definitely be going back
Abigail Demaree: The course was really fun, and after looking at other places, the cost was great. I absolutely loved the zip line side! But, the course is not suitable for tall people. I wish that there was some disclosure on that. I am 5'10 and my husband is 6'1. We kept getting stuck in the fisherman's traps and I hit my head soo many times. We landed on our butts everytime we finished a zipline, simply because the "run way" wasn't lon enough and the mulch was too high for our height. Other tall people in the same time group as us where also struggling. Because of my height, the rope often rubbed across our necks and shoulders while we were on different obstacles. It's a really fun course, but I gave up after the 4th stage because I was tired of hitting my head and hurting my shoulder. It was a honeymoon adventure for my husband and I, so the fact that it wasn't made for our height ( his height is pretty average) was disappointing. To top it off, we had trainees in our group, and our instructor, Dom, spent a lot of time picking on them instead of helping us. The instructors seemed super immature, it's great they where having fun, but threatening to rip someone's face off and making fun of eachother during instruction, that's a bit much. Also, the trainees seemed super uncomfortable with the exchange as well. So if you are having trouble retaining staff, this might be why. Also, our instructor disappeared part way through, so we had to go find a different group to get help.
Betty B: Perfect spot for our 11-year-old birthday party. Our group consisted on ages 10-50 and everyone had a blast(15 of us). We grabbed one of the two picnic tables on site in the shade and were able to setup our little birthday picnic. I loved the training course and the time the instructor took with the kiddos.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $31+ …More
Es Ri: Dom was our guide and he was very upfront and kind!!!! I struggled with some of the courses but he was patient and helpful with me. Definitely recommend goape especially if you’re not afraid of heights, the whole team was very helpful and it was a super cool experience overall. You guys rock thank you!!! Julia Daily: I don’t have a similar experience to compare this to, but this was very fun! Be prepared for a LOT of WORK climbing up the narrow enclosures to get to the platforms in the trees. That is an athletic activity, for sure. Someone who is under 40 and is in reasonable athletic condition will find it a lot easier than what I did. Standing in the trees, looking around, walking across the challenging course between trees, and then zipping down to the next station was enough fun to make that hard work pay off.In “Tree Top Adventure” there are five different courses, each one being more difficult than the one before. If you’re used to climbing lots of stairs regularly, you probably won’t have trouble with the climbing. Such is not the case for me, and it was even harder work than I anticipated. My legs were pretty wobbly after climbing up, and that made walking across from tree to tree even more challenging. For my 27-year old nephew, it was work, though fairly easy for him. His challenge was that he is over 6 feet tall, and the climbing spaces are pretty tight. Our instructor, Dom, was friendly, helpful and encouraging whenever someone had difficulty with a particular challenge or with understanding the equipment. The instruction was good, though I felt that manipulating the trolley through some spots was a little more difficult than it needed to be; you have to work with moving it at various angles before it makes sense and the trolley will pass through to the next section. I felt safe the whole time, and I was surprised that I enjoyed the heights as much as I did. It’s important to know your physical limits and to take your time between each of the courses. As I was concerned for an old injury of mine, and I was very tired, I finished after 3 of the 5 stations, and I felt perfectly fine about accomplishing that! I had fun watching the rest of the group work harder than what I wanted to. Watching them do the Tarzan swing was fun, and they seemed to love it. The very last zip line down to the ground was the longest, and it made me wish I hadn’t gotten so tired.Important: Drink lots of water, because you will sweat a lot!
Chris Godfrey: Incredible idea and place. Staff was very friendly, informative and helpful, which i needed because i have a fear of heights (and this was a good challenge to face that fear).
Justus Cole: Awesome place. We did the long tree top adventure. Took us about 1.5 hours. We had an absolute blast. Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty! Great place
Victoria Harris: Me and my family loved this!
Charlie Z: It was fun. We did the Axe throwing. She killed it she hit the target over 12times. I didn't get 1 in. Lol fun times
Jen A: We had so much fun here today! The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend trying this. We will have to go again sometime.
Melinda Hageman: We had a blast! We did the Treetop Adventure and definitely got our money's worth. It was challenging but not impossible. We hope to bring our kids back to the easier/shorter one sometime. Only complaint is that the zipline landings were a little rough.
Krista Westerkamp: Very unreliable. We made our reservation and paid beforehand. They sent several emails and we signed our waivers. The day we showed up for our adventure with 2 very excited kiddos they informed us they were understaffed and our reservation was cancelled. They kept the adult zip line open however. Did not offer to make the situation right whatsoever by offering us a different time or any accommodation after we blocked out our morning and spent money on gas. Very disappointing and heartbreaking for kiddos especially.
Ashley Emory: Very unprofessional they canceled my son’s 5th birthday party 2 hours before it was supposed to start due to staffing issues. They didn’t have enough staff to have both adventures open at the same time so they had to close one which is totally understandable because safety is vital but again they chose to keep the 10 & up adventure open as opposed to the all ages. In my opinion that was totally unfair and none of the staff displayed any sort of compassion, they were rude about it and didn’t even try to come up with a different solution.
ANDYJO 1979: The experience was good but they are under staffed and they had electrical issues with their lights. I belive the experience would have been better during the day.
ANTHONY H: Wife and I just went there today for our 17th anniversary. She's been once before and today was my first time. It was a heck of a workout and a lot of fun. I've had 3 knee surgeries and I'm going to be sore for a couple of days most likely but it was a great way to celebrate an anniversary. Staff was awesome. Tarzan obstacle was down due to them being short staffed but ther than that it was a great experience.
LaWanda Lamar: Looks like fun for the kids and adults. Not thrilled about $9 gloves per person required to purchase.
seth dobson: Park was nice. Just obstacle courses no long distance zip lining. Staff was great. Timothy was awesome with our party and helping others.
Mahoganie Taylor: So fun!!! My husband and I went and cannot stop talking about it!! A great workout for sure!
Darla Davis: This place in Swop Park, is a dream for kids! They can climb all over it. They can suspend from heights and be safe. They have all sizes of zip lines, so kids can build up to the longest ride. They have plenty of adults that are there to assist. I highly recommend! Whoo hoo 😁
