LDS Family Services: what do users think?
PatriciaAnn: Connection to peers is vital to our health and survival throughout mortal challenges. "This is the place". Having the Bishop in your corner matters. The Bible is a true story; the Book of Mormon is a true story. The Doctrine and Covenants is our story. We need each other to go all the way through. Thank you.
dean l eaton: My wife and I have been directing the ARP (addiction recovery program) program for LDS FAMILY SERVICES in the north half of the Liberty Stake Missouri for 3 plus years. We have found this to be the most effective program we have ever seen to help an individual overcome serious addictions, because it is based on the 12 step program using the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Atonement with the Grace of Jesus Christ, to overcome addictions, weaknesses, bad habits and shortcomings. In reality, every member of the Church can draw closer to our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ by using this program in their life.

Independence Animal Services: what do users think?
Michelle Floyd: Love this place
Chase Coleman: Laura vaughn.... This lady has come to my house 3 times. Even stating my cats have gained weight. I was told by a bunch of people that animal control vehicles had been sitting in the parking lot to the side of my building.... As someone with autism, adhd, bi-polar and is disabled. I feel scared and threatened by their actions and the people she works with.Discrimination goes on at this establishment
Cherie Morrison: If your dog gets lost better hope this company does not get ahold of them.Terrible staff and inhumane policies.I found a mangy dog about to get run over by 3 cars and was told i should have let the dog get run over instead of bringing them to a safe place.Inhumane.While I was waiting for the staff to get ahold of the owners, I needed to run to my car with my baby to get formula for my baby and was told I had to leave my ID with them before I could walk to my csr to get formula for my childI complied, although I am not sure this is legal. When I came back ( 30 seconds later)I asked for my ID and was told to wait as they were putting my info into their system. After some time the incompetent staff finally found the dog owners.I asked to speak to a manager and while i was putting my ID back in my purse the manager said to me " Why are you staring at me, you got something to say to me".Not sure where and how the staff ischosen and educated on policy and procedures for this company, but would say Articulate and educated is not in the handbook.Ghetto place with inhumane policies. Will be speaking to upper management Monday
Lori Ventura: I love the work this organization does for our furry community members! 💕
Steve Sharp: Stopped in for a short bit to get and share some love with some homeless dogs.
Janiece Knight: The most unethical, disrespectful and racist people working for this establishment. I feel bad for any animals they come into contact with, especially if their owner is black - their main goal is to try and put your dog down. The people who come out already have their minds set on what they want to do and not what is right and or lawful, they are also very threatening and will harass you. These people will not do anything about animals that need serious attention but will respond to petty calls of miserable, bored neighbors who call them because they have nothing better to do. Sick sick sick individuals to ever come into contact with. Know these people are not safe to work with and they are animal killers.
Pandora Kuhnlein: Very helpful.
Christy Trueblood: Found a dog running at large with collar and a leash. Took him to shelter in the middle of my work day and was told they scheduled an appt for him almost 2 hours later. Thank you for accepting my tax money and wasting my time trying to help a lost pet
Shosh Ta: We recently adopted a dog from this shelter and our experience was a good one. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. They allowed our dogs to meet. We were able to pet the kitties and rabbits. We even met the puppies with a staff member present. The only thing I didn’t like was we were not able to see all the available dogs. You had to know what dog you wanted to meet and the dog we came to view was still on a stray hold. The staff member suggested a dog they believed would be a good fit with our small dog. We set up a meet & greet to see how the doggos would interact. In the lobby, there is a computer set that allows you to scroll and view all available shelter animals. You can view the animals on 2 screens, the computer and a big screen tv mounted high above. If you plan to adopt, a dog, you need to bring a collar or harness and a leash with you. If you should forget to bring these items, they sell these items there. They sent us home with a small bag of food, coupons, microchip info, and paperwork that includes surgery and exam info.We really love our dog and we are so grateful to have welcomed this new addition to our home.
Cindy Pettyjohn: Very clean
T Schetselaar: We adopted a kitten who was very shy but would only come out and play with me. The staff were very nice and the adoption process isn’t long at all.
Reggie Regg: Nice friendly staff very clean establishment and the animals are well taken care of
Livy Reed: Amazing peopleVery helpful and took good care of my baby.
Slack Tyde (SlackTyde1334): Brought two dogs that were found running down Truman Rd. Both have mange and serious matting of the ears and under carriage. After waiting an hr. After making an appointment we were told to bring the dogs back tomorrow after another 20 minutes of standing outside of the building with the dogs. We were told to, "do our part as a community member" and keep them at our home. We know they have policies and procedures to follow but WTH!?!? Not happy with the results. Recommend not wasting your time and exhausting all other resources first. I am not trying to paint them in a negative light but just sharing my experiences and stating facts. Update to this review. Someone from the shelter came out to the car and said they would take the dogs! So kudos to them.
tiffany gutierrez: Pam who answers the phone is rude and has a nasty attitude. I was in a good mood and her nasty attitude put me in a bad. I don’t recommend dealing with the staff there. There are so many other places you can go with friendly and helpful staff.
Mike Reffitt: Terrible unaccommodating understaffed won't answer the phone will not return phone calls cannot even look at dogs without supervision terrible
Beccah D: Took our feral cat in for TNR. The staff were professional, friendly, and courteous. They made sure we had a reservation the surgery date, kept in contact, and were clear about drop-off and pickup times. Our kitty came cak neutered, ear tipped, with meds and a rabies vax on-board. So glad our municipal shelter has a TNR program that is reasonably priced and accessible. Thank You, IAS!
Steven Shoemaker: They were great on the intake of an injure Cat, don't know the outcome for the cat but it's a service in a large metro like KC to be able to care for the animals that are suffering...
ron boone: I think we went to about every animal shelter there was and we ended up coming back there because we liked to the dog nice place nice people doing a good thing
CeoSoBossy: Officer Laura is not someone who listens to both sides of the story, I feel I was judged because I am black.
DAVID GROSS: Staff was friendly and called to let us know how the pet was doing.

Adoption Choices of Missouri: what do users think?
Alyshia Strong: Placing a child up for adoption is not an easy decision to make, but Adoption Choices of Missouri held my hand and went on this journey with me. This was one of the absolute best experiences in my life. I worked with an amazing woman named Kate. She was so understanding, patient, and hardworking. I made the toughest decision I have ever made, but I made a great family in the process. I would absolutely recommend Adoption Choices of Missouri, and DEFINITELY recommend Kate!
Quinn Luensman: Wonderful, caring group. All about helping mothers!
